Shogun nazad u USA, trenira s Cordeirom :)0 UFC and Pride Champion Shogun Rua: My Dream is to beat Nogueira
Shogun trenira s Freddie Roachemhttp://www.fightersonlym...shogun-has-knee-problemq "He didn’t know how to transfer his weight too well, and he wasn’t a very big puncher at first. Once we got him pivoting and punching off the right foot, keeping his boxing stance, he punched really, really hard when he did it correctly,” Roach says.

Q: You normally do your camp in Curitiba. What made you go to US?Shogun: it's always good to look for new training. My main motivation was to improve my wrestling and boxing technicsQ: What are you thinking of the Freddie Roach training? How do you see your evolution?Shogun: it's very cool, i'm learning new boxing details with him, he's a great coach! According to Freddie, before I hit like a girl, now I'm hitting like a man (laughs)Q: One of your big qualities always were your hard low kicks. Why lately you've been kicking less?Shogun: I train low kicks a lot, but in certain fight situations I decided not to kick, for strategy reasons, to not leave gaps.Q: You have been owing a little bit in your TDD. How are you fixing this deficiency? Do you believe that, if you improve this part of your game, you'll be the freer old Shogun?Answer: I'm a fighter that always goes foward for the knockout, and this exposes myself for the TDs. I'm training a lot of wrestling to fix this problem and get even freer in the octagon.Q: Lately your cardio has been inconsistent, but you were impecable against Lyoto and Dan Henderson. What can we expect from your physical condition for this Little Nog fight?Shogun: In all my fights I give everything i have looking for the KO and this demands a lot of energy and wears me out. But I'm always working to improve my cardio to this not happen againQ: Do you believe this fight with Little Nog can top the first, considered one of the best in Pride history, when you won?Shogun: For sure, because both of us are more experienced and very well trained for this combat. From 2005 to now many things changed for both sidesQ: What things?Shogun: The heart and the hunger are the same, but I've got through some difficulties that made me grow. Besides that, I think nothing changed and I'll perform as good as the first timeQ: What's your pick for Sonnen vs Jon Jones?Shogun: A fight is a fight, nobody gets in to lose, but I believe in a Jones victory.Q: Is there any difference to you in fighting brazilians or foreigners?Shogun: I look for doing good fights regardless of the opponent. I don't have preference between brazilians or foreigners because I respect my opponentQ: What your fans can expect from you for this fight?Shogun: My fans can expect an excelent fight. I'm dedicating myself a lot and am very happy training for this fight agains Minotouro. He's a very good fighter for whom I have great respect. I'll give my best and if God wills I'll get the victory. Pull for me folks!
